  • OCTO II 2023-25

Vector based, OCTO II demonstrates the fortuitous actuality that when two planar linear parts with opposing 45 degree angle slots in their ends are engaged at 90 degrees to one another, the result is a 120 degree angle. This OCTO has been extended with top and bottom octagonal prisms, cubes and truncated octahedrons are also available shapes. The center form is a truncated cube-octahedron, its octagonal component is made possible by the addition of a 90 degree slotted part.

    Materials: Latvian birch plywood

    Dimensions: 12’ high, 9.5’ dia.

  • Return Of The Caterpiller 2026

The Caterpillar has only two basic parts, square panels or portions of same, with 45 degree corner slots, and hexagonal panels that fit in between as all of the square panels are pinned together. The Caterpillar is about transformation, in this case, not a butterfly but a building system for a different life to emerge from the cocoon. It is an assemblage of truncated octahedrons oriented with the hexagonal faces horizontal, an embodiment of hierarchy and movement. The use of geometric principles in design honors the formations of nature resulting in infinite structural organic architecture.

  • Star Portal (Red) 2023

The Star Portal symbolizes the essence of Infinite Architecture combining two of the three possible regular polyhedra that fill space individually. Both totally familiar and unknown at the same time, it embodies one cell in a vast sea of cells, an elemental component in the structure of space. The diamond face embodies the angles between the polygonal faces of multiple polyhedra in space filling arrays. With crystal inclusions by Future Eyes.

  • Mayan Warrior - Tower (Jr) 2026

By shrinking alternate square panels of a truncated octahedral array, a Cube Octahedron-Octahedral matrix capable of infinite expansion has been developed, here assembled as a tower with observation balconies. Large square panels and small square panels provide the structural frame and triangular panels provide stiffness. In a pyramidal assembly these stairs spiral upwardly, making triangular corkscrew like corridors
