Star Portal (Rhombic Dodecahedron)

The Star Portal design is a rhombic dodecahedron combined with a cube, made with no metal or fasteners, held up by feet and contains an inner floor for meditation.

This polyhedron comprises a central cube and extensions into adjacent cubes, forming two cubes by volume. The extensions are pyramidal with faces inclined at 45 degrees, resulting in coplanar diamond faces.

These diamonds have a width-to-length aspect ratio of one to the square root of two. This ratio not only defines the diamond faces but also the dihedral angles of related cubic polyhedra, also known as "The Lost Triangle of Pythagoras"

This polyhedron consists of twelve rhombic faces, and its unique properties make it a compelling choice for a meditation chamber, having energetic and aesthetic potential, along with infinite structural applications.

One of the most notable characteristics of the rhombic dodecahedron is its ability to tessellate three-dimensional space. This means that multiple rhombic dodecahedra can fit together without any gaps.
