Octo II
Infinite architecture has many paths, combinations of forms and levels of simplicity.
This structure is a vector based solution of a double truncated cube that when expanded in 3D space includes cubes and truncated octahedrons.
Even when expanded it includes only two base shapes though (plus spacers and pins).
Adapted with an interior floor it becomes an ideal chamber, or altar space for deep meditation.
Upon entering the structure the four directions are clearly identified by the four portal openings, as well as two more above and below, to symbolize a harmonious relationship with the terrestrial and celestial realms.
