Temple Of Whollyness

The 2013 structure, designed and built by Gregg Fleishman of Culver City, California, consisted of a central pyramid and four smaller pyramids. Named “The Temple of Whollyness,” the sanctuary was constructed out of interlocking wood pieces without the use of nails, glue or metal fasteners.

It’s a 64ft tall pyramidal complex with 20ft pyramids at each of the 4 corners, and made entirely of interlocking puzzle pieces of sustainable sourced birch wood, assembled entirely without any metal hardware, a true marvel of pure geometry.
The Temple was heavily triangular, designed with Gregg's unique joinery methodology, its general shape recalling the great monuments of the ancient world.

Taking just 15 days to assemble by hand using custom nodes and pins to secure the 64ft frame with exterior paneling to support the higher levels.
